Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A petite conical cup comprised of translucent blue-green glass with a dimpled bottom and curvilinear walls that gradually flare outward, girdle inward about a half inch below the rim, and then flare once again, resulting in an attractive, sinous silhouette. Further contributing to its beauty are the swirling patterns of weathering film as well as the areas of rainbow and silvery iridescence. Size: 3.375" in diameter x 3.125" H (8.6 cm x 7.9 cm)
