Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A lovely vessel formed from semi-translucent, turquoise-hued glass known as a candlestick unguentarium due to its tall, slender neck. The vessel exhibits a bell-shaped body with a concave base, and above the lofty neck is a flared, in-folded rim. Thick areas of rainbow-hued iridescence across the vessel nicely complement its vibrant blue-green color. Size: 1.3" W x 4.6" H (3.3 cm x 11.7 cm)
