Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 2nd century CE. A charming mold-blown bottle formed from translucent pale-green glass with a slight concave base, a spherical body with a lightly-indented shoulder, a tubular neck, and a flared rim with a rolled lip. The body exhibits dozens of raised diagonal swirls which terminate just below the base of the neck, and thick areas of silvery and rainbow-hued iridescence nicely complement the vessel's soft sage hue. Size: 4" W x 5.625" H (10.2 cm x 14.3 cm).
