Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st century CE. A beautiful, near-translucent beaker formed from an almost-colorless glass with only faint traces of pale blue coloration. The vessel is comprised of a flat base with rounded sides, gradually-expanding walls, a wide mouth, and a flared rim. The ancient Romans had a number of uses for beakers like this, including using them for consuming wine or measuring amounts of liquid. Covered in faint areas of silvery iridescence, this is a fabulous example from the Roman Empire! Size: 3.65" W x 5.6" H (9.3 cm x 14.2 cm)
