Necklace comprised of 25 carnelian beads of various shapes, 21 pale blue-green faience beads including a lovely pear-shaped pendant, and 36 tiny white faience discoid spacers. The Romans would have acquired the faience pieces from Egypt. All components are ancient, arranged in a fashion consistent with Roman jewelry. Strung and ready to wear with a modern clasp.
