Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. Three solid, cast leaded-bronze phallic pendants, symbolic of virility and fertility. Each one presents explicit depictions of the male genitalia featuring an erect, curved penis between round testicles. All have integral suspension loops and have developed a nice patina over the centuries. Size of largest: 2" L x 0.625" W (5.1 cm x 1.6 cm)

  • Condition: Repair to phallic tip of smallest amulet, with nearly invisible resurfacing along break lines; larger two items are intact and very good. All items have light encrustations and slight bending to overall form. Nice patina throughout.
