Description:

**Originally Listed At $600**

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A fine cast-bronze figurine of a youthful boy standing nude with his left leg extended. He holds the hollowed pelt of a goat with bent arms in front of his slender body, his left hand careful not to release the tension of the spout while transporting it from one place to the next. The boy looks down and to the left, his serene countenance composed of petite almond-shaped eyes, a flush nose, full lips, and cupped ears, all beneath a coiffure of curly hair. Lovely brown, green, and russet patina enshroud the entire composition. Size: 1.5" W x 2.9" H (3.8 cm x 7.4 cm); 3.4" H (8.6 cm) on included custom stand.
