Description:

Roman, Ca. 2nd Century CE. An iconographically rich bronze cast lamp with the grinning, bald, and beardless countenance forming the upper portion of the lamp. The mouth serves as the fill-hole, and the opening for the wick is beneath his chin. Holes at ears for suspension or attachment. Gorgeously green patina! Size: 4-1/4"L.
