Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A set of 4 cast-bronze artifacts from ancient Rome. First is a petite pouring cup with a ring handle, and next is a tripod censer cup with a trio of iron suspension chains. Third is a rectangular chariot axle cap with a circular exterior roundel, and the largest is a shallow bowl with an in-folded rim. Size of largest: 5.2" W x 1.4" H (13.2 cm x 3.6 cm)

  • Condition: Largest bowl has 1 small perforation; remaining 3 artifacts are intact. Each piece with light earthen deposits, abrasions and nicks commensurate with age, and softening to some finer details, otherwise in great condition. Nice patina throughout.
