Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A lovely pair of cast-bronze pendants with fan-shaped bodies, a lower cylindrical protrusion with incised rings, and a slender protrusion on top with a perforated suspension loop. Modern 14K gold wires are presented within the rings of each lower cylinder, and the circular 14K gold pin bodies each feature a faceted, fuchsia-hued rhodolite garnet. A wearable set of earrings that is sure to accentuate any ensemble! Size of each bronze pendant (both are relatively similar): 0.4" W x 1" H (1 cm x 2.5 cm); total weight: 7.6 grams; quality of gold: 14K.

  • Condition: Gold components added to bronze amulets in modern times, and earrings are wearable as shown. Bronze pendants are ancient, and gold components and rhodolite garnets are modern. Minor abrasions to pendant bodies, otherwise intact and very good. Wonderful patina throughout pendant bodies.
