An opulent piece of Roman material culture; a beautiful earring comprised of gold spherical baubles resembling bells, all separated by bands of petite orbs with a thick wire at the top and fit with a modern hook to be wearable. These orbs would produce a jingling sound when worn, making them very popular amongst Roman women. An elegant adornment showcasing ancient art and modern style! Size of earring: 1" W x 1" H (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm); earring with hook: 1.6" H (4.1 cm); gold quality: 92% (equivalent to over 22 karats); weight: 5.3 grams
