This pottery jug predates those from Sumeria, or Babylonia by thousands of years. Coarse clay with heavy inclusions painted with red geometric /net pattern with slab handle with thumb rest at zenith and recess at lowest end. 10-1/2" H. Provenance: Ex H. Johnson, Ex M.
