Description:

Pre-Columbian, Michoacan, ca. 350 to 1000 CE. A fantastic small female figure with bright original pigment. She wears a brilliantly seafoam green skirt with a white waist band with an incised design that looks like fish on it. She also has large spool earrings to match her dress, a flat headdress, and a thick necklace. Her eyes have been painted the same color as her waistband and her features, while abstract, clearly convey an expression. Custom stand included. Size: 1.75" W x 3.55" H (4.4 cm x 9 cm)

Provenance: Ex-Dr. G. Hermann collection, Denver, CO acquired before 1980
