Pre-Columbian, Jalisco, San Juanito figures from West Mexico, ca. 100 B.C.-250 A.D. each in a seated pose with tassel earrings, the male with one hand on it's knee and the other holding a club with mace head at the end. Female is wearing arm bands with hand on her distended stomach - an indication she is pregnant, both with remains of red and black pigment. Jalisco Couples are rarer than Nayarit ones. Measurements: Male - 11" in height x 6.5" in Width, Female - 10" in height x 6" in width.

Provenance: Ex-private Colorado collection, ex California collection formed before 1970..
