Europe, Great Britain, ca 1900. A very rare set of 2 blueprints for the famed and ill-fated Lusitania. The Lusitania was a British passenger ship owned by the Cunard Line and launched in 1906. Built for the transatlantic passenger trade, it was luxurious and noted for its speed. During World War I the Lusitania was sunk by a German torpedo, resulting in the loss of almost 1200 lives. Each blue print is a section of the main deck - one forward and one aft, each in 1/4 inch = 1 foot scale. Stamped in July 1960 for release by Cunard. Size: 102" L x 28" W (259.1 cm x 71.1 cm)
