Central Asia, Pakistan and Afghanistan, Gandharan Empire, ca. 3rd to 5th century CE. A collection of five terracotta molds, each designed to make small decorative features on terracotta reliefs, depicting flowers, scrollwork, architectural flourishes, and abstract symbols. Four are high relief while the fifth is low relief, creating a dramatically different image. Size: 2.7" W x 4.75" H (6.9 cm x 12.1 cm)
