Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, Valdivian, Earliest Horizon, ca. 4000 to 3500 BCE. A pair of small, cylindrical carved pieces of creamy green grey stone representational figures, highly polished, with incised designs that some archaeologists have thought of as highly abstract feminine. These figures were found near hearths and food preparation areas, as well as in burials of important personages. Come with custom stand. Size of largest: 0.75" W x 1.2" H (1.9 cm x 3 cm)
