Description:

Asia Minor, Turkey, Anatolian, ca. 7th century BCE. A finely wrought, solid cast bronze miniature idol depicting four contiguous figures standing side by side. They have characteristically abstract heads and bodies with an outstretched arm at each side. They stand on a wide, round base. Ancient Anatolia served as a geographical link between Europe and Asia, and Anatolians created some of the finest works from the Bronze Age with expert artistry and craftsmanship as we see in this example. Comes with custom stand. Size: 1.05" W x 2" H (2.7 cm x 5.1 cm); height on stand: 2.5" (6.4 cm).
