Southwestern USA, Northeastern Arizona, Ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi), ca. 1260 to 1330 CE. A coil-constructed white/grey bowl with an undecorated exterior with two tiny, pierced handles and a highly decorated interior. Wide stripes frame triangular panels, with narrow line bars, some diagonal, and solid elements, with four small star-like objects near the rim. Kayenta Black-on-White ware is a type of Tusayan White Ware; the heartland of this pottery region is centered on today's Navajo Nation and Flagstaff, Arizona. This particular bowl has a flattened shape, rather than round, with obvious fine artistry to its decorations. Size: 10.75" L x 10.5" W x 5.5" H (27.3 cm x 26.7 cm x 14 cm)
