Description:

Back at auction due to fraudulent bidder from 6/2/2016 sale…

Spain, 18th century CE. Arguably some of the most beautiful pottery to ever come out of western Europe. The technique originally created by the Islamic cultures in the 12th century, and later manufactured in Al Andalus or Muslim Spain. Of the hundreds of pieces of this desirable pottery that we have seen and handled, this is the one and only jug in this style we have encountered. A must for the advanced collector of Hispano Moresque! Size: 6.75" W x 12" H (17.1 cm x 30.5 cm)
