Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Quimbaya, ca. 1000-1400 CE. Female figure with wonderfully colored and tattooed face, sporting ancient gold nose ring through pierced septum, large nose, slit mouth, hands held upward appearing to have once held an offering, small indication of female genitalia. Larger than most at 11"H x 7-1/2"W.
