The foo dogs here are guardians charged with protecting the writer using the ink stone. Incised floral pattern along sides. Impressed three petal ink older between dogs. Size: 6-1/2"H (16.5 cm) x 12"L (30.5 cm) x 7-3/4"W (19.5 cm). Provenance: Ex-private D.
