Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo / Pueblo / Hopi, ca. late 20th century CE. A beautiful concha hat band made from sterling 92% silver concha medallions with copper and 20% silver bands threaded on the leather strap. The buckle verso is initialed "JE" with a raincloud symbol slightly behind the copper loop. The strap is intact, and this piece is wearable! Size of strap: 29" L (73.7 cm); medallions: 1.75" L x 1" W (4.4 cm x 2.5 cm); buckle: 2.5" L x 1.25" W (6.4 cm x 3.2 cm); silver quality: 20% to 92%
