Description:

Greek, late Hellenistic to early Roman Imperial Period, ca. 1st century BCE to 1st century CE. A wonderful mold-formed bowl fashioned from translucent, pale yellow-green glass with a slight concave base, rounded walls, a flared rim, and a rolled lip. Two sets of horizontal, wheel-cut striations adorn the interior of the vessel and give it a personalized presentation. The soft spring hues of the vessel are nicely complemented by faint areas of silvery iridescence. Size: 6.2" Diameter x 1.625" H (15.7 cm x 4.1 cm).
