Description:

Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A very large and nicely burnished redware standing male figure holding and fondling his erect penis with this left hand, with his right hand raised and touching his magnificent crested helmet. Incised chest bands and everted angular leg and arm bands further embellish his appearance. The surface is finely decorated in a two-tone red and red-brown burnished finish with scattered mineral deposits. Size: 8" W x 15" H (20.3 cm x 38.1 cm)
