Description:

China, 1000-700 BCE. Semi-circular transparent yellow calcite bracelet, completely altered to ivory, with moderate surface degradation and earth deposits. Its interior hole is slightly uneven and finished convex. The ring is about three times thicker in the middle and thins evenly towards its outer edge. Several chips have occured on its perimeter and have been reground smooth. Published in Early Chinese Stone and Circular Art by Chad Herrington.
