Pre-Columbian, Southern Peru, proto Nazca, ca. 400 to 100 BCE. Four textile figures called munecas - Spanish for doll - each with long sweeping brown hair, stylized visages and bodies - all woven from camelid yarns of various hues including red, gold, green, black and brown. Sewn onto a piece of stretched canvas. Size: 5" L x 7" W (12.7 cm x 17.8 cm)
