A pair of fossilized prehistoric marine creatures- a trilobite of the Flexicalymene genus and several Orthoceras shells in a stone matrix. Trilobites are extinct marine creatures that form one of the earliest known groups of arthropods, and Orthoceras are a genus of cephalopods, the elongated, horn-like shells once protected the soft flesh and tentacles once protruded from the chamber opening. Size of Orthoceras matrix: 10" L x 8.5" W (25.4 cm x 21.6 cm)
