Native American, Southwestern United States, Arizona, Roosevelt Basin, Salado culture, ca. 950 to 1250 CE. A lovely pair of pottery bowls of the Salado Red type, each boasting a red exterior and polished, black interior, while sitting upon a round yet stable base. Both featuring a flared rim, the more petite vessel displays a more spherical form and incised dashes lining its exterior, while the larger presents flared walls and a smooth exterior. Size of larger: 8.9" Diameter x 4.3" H (22.6 cm x 10.9 cm)
