Native American, Southwestern United States, found in eastern Arizona, Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan), Puerco Black-on-White type, ca. 1150 to 1250 CE. A hand-built pottery ladle with a concave handle that flows seamless down to form the deep scoop. Black-painted triangles, spirals, and petite spots decorate the recessed surfaces of this utilitarian tool. Size: 6.25" L x 2.625" W x 1.8" H (15.9 cm x 6.7 cm x 4.6 cm)
