Description:

Native American, southwestern United States, Colorado, Ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi), ca. 1200 to 1300 CE. A lovely example of a coil-formed pottery bowl with a round but stable base, tall walls, and a deep basin surrounded by a thin rim. A series of black-painted concentric rings course around the white-slipped basin surface to create a 'bullseye' motif with pale grey pigment within every other ring that creates an attractive presentation. A fabulous and intact example of utilitarian Anasazi artistry! Size: 8.25" W x 3.8" H (21 cm x 9.7 cm)
