Native American, Southwestern United States, Mesa Verde region, Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan), ca. 1100 to 1300 CE. A hand-built pottery mug, possibly McElmo black-on-white style, with a planar base and a thick strap handle. The exterior of the vessel is decorated with linear bands and stepped geometric shapes. Size: 4" W x 3.25" H (10.2 cm x 8.3 cm)
