Native American, Eastern USA, Archaic Period, ca. 1st millennium BCE. A collection of four stone tools from eastern North America. One is an axe head with a groove separating the blunt blade from the wide butt, labeled Cedar Grove, Essex County, New Jersey. The other three are weights for atlatls. One is labeled Belvidere, New Jersey. The trapezoidal one is labeled Spencer County, Indiana. The last, with the butterfly form and groove down its center, is labeled with an old collection number but not a find location. Size of largest (axe head): 2.35" W x 2.95" H (6 cm x 7.5 cm)

Provenance: private southwestern Pennsylvania, USA collection, acquired prior to 2000
