Description:

Pre-Columbian, Central Mexico, Toltec possibly Aztec culture, mid 10th to 15th century CE. Reminiscent of the enormous Atlantes of Tula, though considerably smaller in scale, this piece was carved to represent a warrior or nobleman. Hand carved from volcanic rock with fine facial features and nicely delineated attire. Size: 1.5" W x 5" H (3.8 cm x 12.7 cm)
