Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Santa Marta region, Tairona culture, ca. 1200 to 1500 CE. A wonderful set of 2 necklaces boasting hand-carved stone beads in hues of crimson, grapefruit, citrine, khaki, burnt umber, caramel, chocolate, bone, and coffee. Each necklace features dozens of petite beads in tubular, discoid, and seed forms, with a pair of petite greenstone beads near the center of 1 necklace. Both accessories are made wearable via modern stringing and gold-filled clasp components, so these are sure to accentuate any outfit! Size (longest necklace): 27.2" L (69.1 cm); (largest bead): 1.2" L (3 cm)

  • Condition: Both necklaces are wearable as shown and strung in modern times. Stone beads are ancient; stringing and gold-filled components are modern. Minor chips and abrasions to some beads, with loss to portion of one petite bead, and some surface roughness on some other beads. Great preservation to stone coloration.
