Pre-Columbian, Peru, north coast, ca. 500 BCE to 1500 CE. Comprised of nearly 100 ancient beads made from terracotta and stone, the vast majority of which are nearly spherical with incised concentric circular motifs, arranged in a graduated composition. All beads are ancient and strung in modern times with a 14K gold clasp. A beautiful piece of wearable art! Size: 25.5" L (64.8 cm) and larger beads measure ~ .5" in diameter (1.3 cm)

Provenance: private Probst collection, Monterey, California, USA, acquired in the mid-1970s to mid-1990s
