Description:

Pre-Columbian, Valley of Mexico, Tlatilco, ca. 800 to 500 BCE; Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Classic Period, ca. 250 to 900 CE. A set of 4 hand-built pottery artifacts from ancient Mesoamerica. First is a Tlatilco human head with sizable, Olmecoid eyes. Next is an abstract white bust with large eyes and full lips. Third is a petite simian head with a central crest. The largest is a colorful Maya bust, perhaps of a lord, wearing a large pectoral collar. Size of largest: 1.2" L x 1.6" W x 2.3" H (3 cm x 4.1 cm x 5.8 cm); 3.1" H (7.9 cm) on included custom stand.
