Native American, Southern United States, Missouri, Pemiscot County, Mississippian culture, ca. 1200 to 1500 CE; Pre-Columbian, Mexico to Costa Rica, Olmec, Maya, Veracruz, Aztec, & Chupicuaro cultures, ca. 500 BCE to 1500 CE. A collection of 12 pottery pieces from various Pre-Columbian and Native American cultures. There are 6 heads that originated from larger figures. A partial roller stamp with scrolling linear motifs, a Maya toad effigy bowl, and 3 mold made Maya and Veracruz effigy figures. The bichrome Mississippian pot is purportedly from the same county as the Murphy Mound Archaeological site. Size largest figure: 4" W x 6" H (10.2 cm x 15.2 cm)

Provenance: private Manchester, Vermont, USA collection; ex-private estate collection, Bennington, Vermont, USA, acquired in the 1960s
