Description:

Pre-Columbian, West Coast, Ca 300 BCE/CE. Okay, we've seen a lot of really strange and amazing examples of Pre-Columbian art, but one of these pieces is WAY over the top. Red and tan "device" that I do not even want to venture as to how it was used - but if you have a vivid imagination and a dirty mind, you might arrive at some possibilities. 8"H. Along with a Colima roller stamp in black pottery - 2-3/8" L. Finally a figural jar in dark clay, with seated zoomorph, hands to his belly. 5" H. Provenance: Ex-private Kincade collection, Utah acquired prior to 1960. All items legal to buy/sell under U.S. Statute covering cultural patrimony Code 2600, CHAPTER 14, and are guaranteed to be as described or your money back. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany all winning bids.

  • Condition: Roller seal with wear, "device" repaired and missing portion of face, figural jar with repaired right shoulder and glue on top where another unrelated object was once attached.
