Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico, Guerrero region, Mezcala culture, ca. 600 to 100 BCE; Ecuador, Manabi culture, ca. 500 BCE to 500 CE; Gulf Coast of Mexico, Veracruz culture, ca. 3rd to 9th century CE. A wearable necklace constructed with pottery, shell, and stone beads. Included are mottled Mezcala stone beads in hues of brown and green, Manabi pottery spindle whorls, and Veracruz shell beads, with a central horseshoe-shaped pendant dangling in the middle. Size: 20" L x 1.5" W x 1.3" H (50.8 cm x 3.8 cm x 3.3 cm)

  • Condition: Wearable as shown and strung in modern times. Nicks and abrasions to some beads, with one stable hairline fissure to central pendant, otherwise most beads are intact and very good. Nice bead arrangement and coloration.
