Panama, Coclé region of probable Conte style, ca. 600 to 800 CE. The first is a polychrome jar with swirling black and cream geometric designs, accompanied by a brown bowl with decorated feet. Size: Jar measures 4"”L x 4"”W x 3-1/2"H, bowl measures 3-1/2"”L x 3-1/2"”W x 2-1/2"”H. Provenance: Ex-private Rousseau collection acquired before 1984.   • Condition: Jar intact and in good condition with clear decorative artwork and some minor wear and patina. The lip has a small chip but there are no other cracks or chips. Bowl in fair condition with two of the three legs fully intact and the other broken off at the base. One side has a minor crack that extends halfway down its length.
