Western Asia, ca. 1000 BCE. Comprised of two repousse depictions of mouflan heads in rhythmic pattern. From an important Maotic-Scythian hoard, purportedly found near the Black Sea. Five very fine sections, the central rectangular emement decorated with tiny granular balls and five garnet or carnelian embedments. Includes custom stand. Size: 1" x 1/2". Provenance: Ex-private H.
