Description:

Roman, early Imperial Period, ca. 1st to early 2nd century CE. A lovely flask of a petite size, free-blown from semi-translucent glass of a pale blue-green hue. The vessel is defined by a planar base, a piriform body with a lightly indented neck line, and a cylindrical neck with a flared, in-folded rim. Faint areas of silvery and rainbow-hued iridescence nicely complement the vessel's soft turquoise hues. Size: 1.7" W x 3.55" H (4.3 cm x 9 cm).
