Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. An charming glass unguentarium in a shimmering olive-green hue featuring a slender, conical neck and a flared lip. The vessel's spherical body sits securely atop a flat base that tapers upwards to form the body. Its surface has a slight iridescence reflecting beautiful shades of pink and turquoise, and earthen deposits are scattered throughout its interior cavity. Size: 2.5" Diameter x 4.75" H (6.4 cm x 12.1 cm)
