Native American, Southwestern United States, Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan), Mesa Verde type, ca. 1250 to 1350 CE. A hand-built, white-ground pottery jar of petite size exhibiting a spherical body, a stable base, and a squat rim with a gently flared rim. Surrounding most of the body is a register of thick, crosshatched stripes that contain a single circular spot within each otherwise empty area. Size: 2.71" Diameter x 3" H (6.9 cm x 7.6 cm)
