Pre-Columbian, Central America, Panama, Gran Cocle, ca. 600 to 1000 CE. A hand-built pottery vessel shaped like a cylindrical drum that has been turned on its side. The percussive pottery container features broad diamond motifs along the rounded lateral face, and the 'drum heads' are unadorned. Not recommended for playing. Size: 6.25" L x 6.375" W x 8.125" H (15.9 cm x 16.2 cm x 20.6 cm)
