Attractive double bird pendant cast from a tumbaga, a copper and gold alloy- here the gold percentage ranges from 55% to 79% gold, as shown via XRF testing! Each bird with long curved beak, ball-shaped eyes and puffed up chest - sharing or overlapping wings and tail feathers. Two small suspension loops at reverse, each showing minor wear confirming this was worn in antiquity.
