Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. An attractive pair of pottery vessels: a redware jar and a hemispherical bowl. Both present nice remains of vibrant pigments and simple yet elegant silhouettes. These may have been initially created for domestic use and then later transitioned to holding offerings in a tomb. Size of largest (bowl): 6.3" Diameter x 2.1" H (16 cm x 5.3 cm)

Provenance: ex-G. Martin collection, acquired in the 1980's
