Pre-Columbian, Mexico/Guatemala, proto-Maya, 0 to 500 CE. This is a nicely complementary pair of hard carved pottery female seated figures. Each sits with her hands at her waist; they have exaggerated bellies, as if they are pregnant. Both wear headdresses and have pierced eras. Size: 2.25" L x 3.75" W x 6.75" H (5.7 cm x 9.5 cm x 17.1 cm)
