Latin America, Mexico, ca. mid 20th century CE. Two figural vessels comprised of hammered copper sheet, one depicting the head of a mustachioed gentleman with a solemn countenance presenting almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, closed mouth, smooth ears, and textured eyebrows, beard, and short-cropped coiffure - all resolving to a corseted neck. Joining this piece is a larger vessel that may represent an armored torso with a rippled surface narrowing at the shoulders to resolve in a short neck with a slightly flared rim. Size: torso vessel 10.25" W x 11.875" H (26 cm x 30.2 cm); head vessel 6.625" W x 8.125" H (16.8 cm x 20.6 cm); 17.125" H (43.5 cm) on included custom stand.
